Çankırı Karatekin University (ÇAKÜ), the world`s first and only Specialized University in the field of salt, hosted another important meeting within the scope of the specialization project titled “Sectoral Salt and Salt-Based Strategic Products”. Rector Prof. Dr. Harun Çiftçi chaired this critical meeting held at the University Senate Hall. The meeting, which was attended by Vice Rectors, Specialization Commission Members and Specialization Project Executives, was of great importance in terms of determining the strategic roadmap of the specialization vision.
During the meeting, while the status of the 13 projects currently being carried out was discussed, the projects to be prioritized within the scope of the allocation provided by the Presidential Strategy and Budget Presidency for the year 2025 were also discussed. Rector Çiftçi, who attached special importance to TÜBİTAK, BAP and European Union projects, stated that they will open the door to new collaborations, especially with European countries rich in salt minerals.
“Strong relationships with stakeholders not only increase the number of projects, but also reinforce the applicability of projects in the field. Today`s meeting will lay the foundation for many new collaborations in this context.”
