On September 20, 2023, our university was designated by the Higher Education Council (YÖK) as a “Regional Development-Focused Mission Differentiation and Specialization University” under the name “Sectoral Salt and Salt-Based Strategic Products.” As part of this process, the Regional Development and Specialization Coordination Office was established within our university, the Specialization Strategy and Roadmap for Sectoral Salt and Salt-Based Strategic Products was prepared, and the targets to be achieved were defined.
The scope of this call for proposals includes the evaluation processes for projects expected to be prepared within the framework of the programs outlined in the Sectoral Salt and Salt-Based Strategic Products Specialization Strategy and Roadmap, the evaluation criteria within this process, who may apply, the application stages, budget information, and other supplementary documents, as detailed in the “Project Application Form (Appendix 1), Specialization Project Workflow Diagram (Appendix 2), Preliminary Evaluation Criteria (Appendix 3), Specialization Project Types (Appendix 4), Preliminary Evaluation Form (Appendix 5), and Project Application Presentation Template (Appendix 6).”
- At the meeting of the Specialization Coordination Office held on May 13, 2026, it was decided to issue the Call for Project Proposals for the First Term of 2026.
- Our Specialization Coordination Office will accept project applications for the First Period of 2026 between June 29, 2026, and September 11, 2026.
- For applications, the signed/approved project application form and attachments (technical specifications, pro forma invoice, CVs of the project team, ethics committee approval if required, etc.) must be sent to the institutional email address “tuzihtisas@karatekin.edu.tr.”
- The Project Application Form (Appendix 1) and the Project Preliminary Evaluation Form (Appendix 5) must be taken into account when preparing the application.
